BIO
Judy was born in Harlem N.Y. to Gladys and Rudolph Taylor. Early in Judy’s
Life Gladys her mom realized her daughter had a beautiful voice, so they
Enrolled her in Victoria performing Arts school In Harlem,
where she was trained in classical music.
This launched her first performance at the Worlds Fair Opening.
Later studying with John Motley and the great Hall Johnson who coached who her in opera.
Judy Taylor Thomas has performed all over Europe with a number one record
With her husband Lamar Thomas.
She performed at the Philamonic Hall, Carnegie Hall and enjoyed singing in
Many different languages with the Pocono Vocal Society and touring with
The famous Hall Johnson singing his Negro Spirituals in the biggest
Catherdrals in Harlem NY.
Now focusing on vocal coaching, and Artist and development, Judy’s focus
Is based on dedication, patients and quality. I never cut corners, and my
Students leave with a new found insight of their craft.
With 20 years in the music business my classes are taught based off of
